A clear picture of your dental health — before any treatment

The examination is the first and most important step. It lets us understand your concerns and goals and build a complete picture of your teeth and gums before any treatment is discussed.

What it is

The visit includes a conversation about your concerns, expectations and medical history, followed by a thorough clinical examination of the teeth, gums and soft tissues. Where needed, additional diagnostics such as X-ray imaging are arranged.

Who it's for

  • If you haven't seen a dentist for a while and want to know where you stand
  • If you have a specific concern — pain, sensitivity, a broken tooth
  • If you're considering larger treatment and want a second opinion
  • As a routine check-up every 6–12 months

What happens at the consultation

We listen, examine carefully and discuss what we see in plain language. If treatment is needed, you'll get an explanation of your options — without pressure and with no obligation to start immediately.

How treatment works

  1. A conversation about your concerns and goals
  2. Clinical examination of teeth, gums and soft tissues
  3. Additional diagnostics where needed
  4. Discussion of the findings and possible next steps

Benefits and limitations

Regular examinations allow problems to be caught early, when treatment is usually simpler. An examination doesn't treat anything by itself — it is the foundation on which appropriate care for your case is planned.

Aftercare

You'll receive specific recommendations based on the findings — on hygiene, diet and the interval until your next check-up.

Treatment suitability and results depend on your individual clinical case and are determined after an examination.

Questions about this service

How long does the first visit take?

Usually around 30 minutes. For more complex cases we may plan extra time or a second visit to discuss the plan.

Should I bring anything with me?

It helps to bring previous X-rays or records from other treatment, a list of medication you take, and information about any allergies.
